Bajo el t\u00edtulo de \u201cla \u00faltima llave\u201d con este film se cierran todos los posibles cabos sueltos que quedaron en los anteriores. Es muy interesante todo lo que esta saga ha supuesto para una generaci\u00f3n entera, comparable como el mismo James Wan ha afirmado a lo que supuso Poltergeist (Tobe Hooper, 1982) en su momento. El propio director ha admitido que se sinti\u00f3 muy influenciado por dicho film cuando era adolescente y decidi\u00f3 rendirle un homenaje con esta saga.
